2 Live Crew to Be Live in Court: Members of 2 Live Crew will take their act to a courtroom today in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. Three members of the four-man band were arrested on suspicion of obscenity June 10 for performing material at a concert in Hollywood, Fla., from the band’s “As Nasty as They Wanna Be” album. The album was ruled obscene in that jurisdiction last June by a U.S. District Court judge. Each of the defendants is charged with one count of misdemeanor obscenity and faces up to a year in jail and a $1,000 fine.
