Flores Urges Campaign to Silence New Year’s Guns
Gun owners who celebrate New Year’s Eve by firing their weapons were targeted by Los Angeles City Councilwoman Joan Milke Flores Friday for a public awareness program aimed at keeping the weapons silent.
Flores introduced a motion calling on the City Council to approve a program to inform would-be celebrants just how dangerous it is to fire guns blindly into the sky.
