CAMARILLO : Candidates Forum Planned for Council
At least seven of the nine candidates for seats on the Camarillo City Council have committed themselves to take part in a candidates forum Wednesday, according to the Camarillo Chamber of Commerce, the event’s sponsor.
Three council seats are at stake in the Nov. 6 election, including that of Mayor Charlotte Craven, who is seeking reelection. Incumbents Thomas Martin and Sandi Bush are not seeking reelection.
The public is invited to attend the forum, which will be televised on Channel 6 by Ventura County Cablevision. The forum starts at 7 p.m. in the council chambers at City Hall, 601 Carmen Drive.
