CHP Stages Crash to Make Training Film
Two westbound lanes of the Foothill Freeway in Sylmar were closed for eight hours Sunday as firefighters and the California Highway Patrol staged an accident for a scene in an upcoming training film, authorities said.
The drill caused traffic tie-ups because many motorists apparently thought the accident was real, the CHP reported.
