N.Y. Firm Increases Stake in Ventura Entertainment

Networth Partners L.P., a New York investment partnership controlled by Equimax Resources Inc., increased its stake in Ventura Entertainment Group Ltd., a North Hollywood movie and TV production company, from 5.34% to 6.9%, or 535,310 common shares, according to a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
Networth said it bought 121,000 shares at prices ranging from $7.75 to $9.50 per share between Oct. 8 and Oct. 11.
