Bellflower : $160,000 Bus Transit Center Opened in Downtown Area
City officials on Tuesday celebrated the opening of a $160,000 transit center, which will serve as the downtown boarding and transfer station for city buses.
The transit center, on Oak Street just east of Bellflower Boulevard, includes a covered bus bench shelter and a men’s and women’s restrooms.
Bellflower has four buses, including two trolley-like vehicles. All four buses will pick up passengers every half hour between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
