Gross, Harnett Reach Racquetball Final
Form prevailed at Racquetball World/Canoga Park on Saturday in the men’s open division of the Tournament of Terror.
Andy Gross of Sherman Oaks, seeded No. 1, moved into today’s noon final by defeating Mark Silva, also of Sherman Oaks, 15-0, 15-10.
Gross, 22, who bested Eric Wang of Chatsworth, 15-10, 15-5, in the quarterfinals earlier in the day, will faced No. 2-seeded Bret Harnett of Las Vegas, who beat Ed Andrews of Huntington Beach in a tiebreaker, 15-4, 9-15, 11-2.
Harnett, 24, defeated Anthony Buccino of West Hills, 15-10, 15-2, in a quarterfinal match.
