Homemade Bomb Blast Injures 1
One man was arrested and another hospitalized after a homemade bomb exploded in a Reseda house, the Los Angeles Police Department reported Sunday.
Todd Hoggan, 28, was arrested on suspicion of possessing a destructive device after police found several homemade bombs Saturday night at the house, located in the 19400 block of Gault Street.
Another man, whose name was not released, was taken to Los Angeles County-USC Medical Center, where he was treated for injuries he suffered when one of the bombs exploded.
Police removed the improvised explosives and detonated them in an open field in the hills above the Simi Valley Freeway near Winnetka Avenue early Sunday.
