Man’s Body Found on Foothill Freeway

A man’s body was found on the Foothill Freeway in Lake View Terrace early Monday, the California Highway Patrol reported.
A passing motorist saw the body in an eastbound lane at Paxton Street shortly after 4 a.m., CHP Officer Harold Daily said.
The cause of death had not been determined, but officers said the victim may have been a pedestrian. The victim had not been identified Monday. He was described as a black man 40 to 50 years old.
