Media Access Winners: The winners of the 12th annual Media Access Awards, which honor accurate portrayals of the disabled in film, television and radio, were announced Wednesday at Universal Studios. The film award went to “My Left Foot,” and the winners in the television category were ABC’s “Life Goes On,” CBS’ “The Young and the Restless” and Fox’s “21 Jump Street.” Actor Christopher Burke of “Life Goes On” and John Hockenberry of National Public Radio’s “Heat” program received special individual awards. Michael Landon hosted the event.
