The daughter of Rep. Dan Rostenkowski (D-Ill.), chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee, was sentenced to three years of probation in a drug-related case.

Gayle Rosten, 33, was also ordered to perform 200 hours of community service, pay a fine of $2,800 and forfeit the 1988 car in which an ounce of cocaine was found when she was arrested.

Rosten has been attending a drug treatment program since June 5, according to her attorney, James Reilley. She has no criminal record, but has been a drug user, said Robert Will, her Waukegan attorney.
