“A rose by any other name is still a rose.” Just put an NC-17 classification on any movie and it’s OK to advertise it in The Times.
“Henry & June” gets an NC-17 rating and is declared “an erotic masterpiece” and The Times gleefully pockets the advertiser’s filthy lucre!
Is the Birmingham (Ala.) News the only newspaper to recognize that merely changing the name of something doesn’t change its substance? Wake up Los Angeles Times, and don’t let Jack Valenti and his pals pull the wool over your eyes.
