FREEWAY REPAIRS : Caltrans Issues Motorists’ Advisory

Caltrans advises motorists that it has scheduled the following freeway work in the Southeast and Long Beach area this week. Repair locations are spotted on the map by number and are identified in the list below by the nearest city or cities.

ARTESIA FREEWAY (91)

1. Bellflower: Eastbound ramps; Clark Avenue on-ramp, Bellflower Boulevard off-ramp; Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.; guardrail repair.

FIRESTONE BOULEVARD (42)

2. Downey: Eastbound and westbound alternating lanes at Brookshire Avenue; Tuesday, 9 to 11 a.m.; stenciling.

3. South Gate: Eastbound and westbound alternating lanes at Fir Avenue; Wednesday, noon to 2 p.m.; stenciling.

HARBOR FREEWAY (110)

4. Carson: Southbound No. 1 and 2 lanes; 223rd Street to Torrance Boulevard; Monday, 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.; marker repair.

5. Carson: Northbound No. 1 and 2 lanes; Sepulveda Boulevard to Torrance Boulevard; Tuesday, 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.; marker repair.

LONG BEACH FREEWAY (710)

6. Commerce: Northbound No. 3 lane; at Santa Ana Freeway (5) separation and Washington Boulevard on-ramp; today, 6 to 11 a.m.; bridge repair.

7. Commerce: Northbound No. 5 lane; Washington Avenue to Triggs Street; Thursday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.; guardrail repair.

SAN DIEGO FREEWAY (405)

8. Carson: Southbound alternating lanes; at Carson Street on-ramp; Monday, 9 to 11 a.m.; stenciling.
