RELIEF? Most Riverside County commuters say they’re willing to pony up for Orange County car-pool lanes (above) only because they’re desperate for a solution to Riverside Freeway congestion. . . . With 83% saying traffic is between bad and “just awful,” Riverside County commuters want action now. A Riverside County poll shows that while 3 of 4 commuters dislike Orange County’s plans for toll lanes, nearly half think they will help.
