Lake’s Low Water Level Doesn’t Bother Anglers

The water level has been dropping at Lake Silverwood--a normal occurrence this time of year--but it hasn’t affected fishing success.
The lake, located in the San Bernardino Mountains, is part of the state’s aqueduct system, and anglers with experience switch tactics and fish the bottom when the water is lower.
Silverwood offers several varieties of fish, but the most popular are the large striped bass.
