THE SIDELINES : Broncos Tight End Injures Knee

DENVER —
Finally beginning to heal after a season-long siege of injuries, the Denver Broncos got more bad news when starting tight end Clarence Kay sustained a knee injury in practice.
Kay was hurt during a routine pass drill on Thursday. Trainer Steve Antonopulos said Kay appeared to have suffered a torn cartilage in his right knee which might require arthroscopic surgery to repair.
If so, he probably would be sidelined at least two weeks.
