Dash For Speed Heads Field
Dash For Speed, the leading contender for 1990 World Champion Running Quarter Horse honors, heads a field of six fillies and mares in tonight’s $25,000 Charger Bar Handicap at Los Alamitos. The 350-yard race is the ninth of a 12-race program.
Dash For Speed, a winner of 21 of 27 starts with earnings of $1,093,441, will be making her first start since July 28 when she won the Los Alamitos Invitational. Kip Didericksen will be aboard.
Her rivals include Wicked Wind, ridden by Luke Myles; Isaws Sugar Bear, Steve Treasure; Agua Treasure, John Creager; Winning Guarantee, Alvin Brossette, and Brace It Well, Danny Cardoza.
