A 12-year-old San Marcos boy led sheriff’s deputies to the home of two men who he said had repeatedly raped and sexually abused him Friday night after luring him away from a San Marcos taco shop to a house in a remote area of the city.

The youth, whose name was withheld because of his age, was abducted by the two men about 6 Friday evening and finally released by the men four hours later several miles from the house where he had been sexually assaulted. The boy found his way back home and told his parents about the attack.

The 12-year-old was able to lead the deputies back to his attackers’ house and to describe the type of car they were driving. Sheriff’s investigators obtained a search warrant and entered the suspects’ house about 8 a.m. Saturday.

Evidence seized included adult pornographic videotapes and items of clothing believed to have been worn by the suspects at the time of the assault on the youth.

Arrested and jailed on charges of kidnap, child molestation, sodomy, oral copulation and displaying pornographic material to children are Warren Patrick Derichweiler, 24, and Miguel Chavez, 21.

Both are being held at the Vista detention facility in lieu of bail, which was set at $160,000.
