Peggy Lee Cancels: On the advice of her physician, singer Peggy Lee has canceled her engagements for the month of November. These dates include Friday through Sunday at the Wilshire Theatre in Beverly Hills and Nov. 17 at the Spreckels Theatre in San Diego. “She’s had heart problems over the years and her doctor said she can’t work this month,” said Peter Levinson, who handles publicity for Lee’s record label, Musicmasters. Ticketholders should call Ticketron or Teletron for refunds.
