GARDEN GROVE : Trustees Hand Out Raises in District
The school board this week voted to give district employees a 4.1% pay increase.
Contracts were approved for employees in four groups in the Garden Grove Unified School District.
A one-year contract between the district and the Garden Grove Education Assn. involves teachers, nurses and librarians. A three-year contract with the California School Employees Assn. was also approved, affecting employees such as bus drivers and food service workers.
After approving several other contracts, the board voted to give 4.1% pay increases to non-union employees. The new contracts were ratified by all the employee groups.
