FREEWAY REPAIRS : Caltrans Issues Motorists’ Advisory

Caltrans advises motorists that it has scheduled the following freeway work in the Southeast and Long Beach area this week. Repair locations are spotted on the map by number and are identified in the list below by the nearest city or cities.

ARTESIA FREEWAY (91)

1. Artesia: Westbound off-ramp at Pioneer Boulevard; Wednesday, 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.; landscaping.

2. Carson: Connector from the westbound Artesia Freeway (91) to the northbound and southbound Harbor Freeway (110), Main Street off-ramp and on-ramp, Avalon Boulevard on-ramp; today, 6 a.m. to noon; asphalt patching.

3. Compton: Eastbound No. 4 lane, Wilmington Avenue to Acacia Court, Wilmington Avenue on-ramp, Acacia Court off-ramp; Tuesday and Wednesday, 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.; crack-seal repair.

HARBOR FREEWAY (110)

4. Carson: Southbound No. 1 and 2 lanes; 223rd Street to Pacific Coast Highway; Tuesday, 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.; marker repair.

5. Wilmington: Northbound and southbound No. 1 lanes; Anaheim Street to Pacific Coast Highway; Wednesday, 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.; wall repair.

LONG BEACH FREEWAY (710)

6. Long Beach: Southbound off-ramps to eastbound and westbound Pacific Coast Highway; Thursday and Friday, 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.; asphalt repair.

7. Various Cities: Northbound and southbound No. 1 lanes; from the Santa Ana Freeway (5) interchange to the Los Angeles River; Tuesday, 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.; sweeping.

POMONA FREEWAY (60)

8. East Los Angeles: Eastbound on-ramp at Indiana Avenue; Tuesday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.; guardrail repair.

9. East Los Angeles: Westbound on-ramp at 3rd Street; Thursday, 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.; guardrail repair.

10. Industry: Eastbound No. 1 lane; Peck Road to Crossroads Parkway; Wednesday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.; fence and crack-seal repair.

11. Montebello: Eastbound No. 4 and 5 lanes; Rosemead Boulevard to Peck Road, northbound Rosemead Boulevard on-ramp, northbound Santa Anita Avenue off-ramp, northbound and southbound Santa Anita Avenue on-ramps northbound and southbound Peck Road off-ramp; Tuesday, 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.; marker repair.

SANTA ANA FREEWAY (5)

12. La Mirada: Northbound No. 4 lane; Artesia Boulevard to Rosecrans Avenue; Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.; landscaping.

TERMINAL ISLAND FREEWAY (103)

13. Long Beach: Northbound and southbound No. 1 lanes at the Commodore Schuyler F. Heim Drawbridge; Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.; bridge repair.
