This elegant, re-released collection of 20 miniatures mixes predictable selections from Ibert, Villa-Lobos, Ravel and Falla with lesser-known gems, particularly from the Brazilian composers Jayme Ovalle, Valdemar Henrique, Ernani Braga and Francisco Mignone. Easy-listening in the best sense, but the remastered sonics sound even more glossily reverberant than on the original vinyl.
