Quake Centered Near Downtown L.A.
A mild earthquake shook buildings from Huntington Beach to the Los Angeles Civic Center Sunday night, but there were no immediate reports of damage or injuries, authorities said.
The magnitude 2.5 temblor hit at 10:58 p.m. and was centered about four miles southeast of the Civic Center, said Tom Heaton of the U.S. Geological Survey in Pasadena.
