Coronado
A Coronado woman was killed late Friday when the car she was driving ran off the Silver Strand Highway, authorities said.
The dead woman was identified as Judith Vincent, 51. She succumbed at the scene.
A male passenger suffered major injuries, police said, but his name and condition were not available.
The accident occurred about 11:15 p.m., police said, as the victim’s car was heading south on the Silver Strand. The vehicle ran over an embankment and off the road, authorities said.
Coronado police were investigating.
