MUNCIE, Ind. — Kevin Bradshaw poured in 33 points, 18 of them in the second half, to rally U.S. International to a 72-67 win over Campbell in the consolation game of the Cardinal Varsity Club Classic Saturday night.
It was USIU’s first victory of the season.
Bradshaw, a 6-6 senior forward, connected on 14 of 25 shots as the Gulls won their first game in five outings. Campbell (1-3) led 44-37 at halftime, but USIU pulled even at 46-46 on Isaac Brown’s layup with 15 minutes to play.
The game changed hands twice before Bradshaw hit a 12-footer from the left baseline to put the Gulls on top for good at 61-59, then came back to drill a 12-footer for a four-point advantage.
Campbell got as close as three points at 67-64, but Bradshaw canned another 14-footer to give U.S. International some breathing room with 1:49 to play.
