Santa Clara 66, Taft 49--Santa Clara used 10-0 runs in both the first and third quarters to pull away from Taft and advance to the championship game Tuesday against Santa Barbara in the Simi Valley tournament at Simi Valley High.
The win was Santa Clara’s 48th in a row.
Art Barron led the Saints with 26 points and six steals.
K .C. Sheahan had 15 points and eight rebounds to lead Taft.
Granada Hills 82, Glendale 66--Four players scored in double figures as the Highlanders advanced to the consolation final in the Simi Valley tournament.
Oxnard 93, Sylmar 63--Antonio Williams and David Bickey combined for 41 points to lead Oxnard in a consolation game of the Simi Valley tournament.
