Mike Ditka insists he wasn’t angry when he stormed out of a news conference this week. But a physician who co-wrote a study defining Type-A behavior says the Chicago Bears coach shouldn’t be afraid to blow up if he feels like it. “If you feel it, then express it,” Dr. Meyer Friedman said from his San Francisco office. “Don’t let it build up into aggravation.” After Chicago (10-3) had lost two of its past three games, Ditka called Red Mottlow of Chicago radio station WFYR a “jerk” and a “joke” for asking him “What’s wrong” with the Bears’ struggling offense, and Ditka cut short his meeting with reporters.
