Munch and Shop: In Las Vegas, casinos have installed slot machines in bar counters so that drinkers can keep gambling without having to leave their stools.
In Newport Beach, Muldoon’s Irish Pub in Fashion Island’s Outer Circle has found a way to allow diners to keep shopping without leaving their booths.
Like roving Avon salespeople, clerks from the nearby I. Magnin department store are wandering from table to table peddling a selection of women’s perfume, oils and bath products. Customers can buy the perfumes and bath items on the spot.
The lunchtime program continues through Christmas Eve.
