At its annual organization meeting Wednesday, trustees of the Oxnard Union High School District elected Steve W. Stocks as president of the board, which oversees six schools.
Stocks replaced former board member Sorrell Berman and will serve a one-year term as board president of the 11,000-student district. Stocks is also a commissioner of the Oxnard Harbor District.
The election was held at the beginning of the regular board meeting.
Jean Daily Underwood, who in November was elected to her fifth term on the board, was elected vice president. New board member Nancy Koch was chosen clerk.
Koch, Underwood and five-term board member Janet Lindgren, who all won election in November, were also sworn in at the meeting.
