Geary Re-Hospitalized: Anthony Geary, who played Luke on “General Hospital,” will return to the ABC soap opera in the near future, but not in his original character, it was announced by Gloria Monty, who has just returned to the program as executive producer. Monty would not say what character Geary would play. “By mid-February, I will have a number of Valentine’s week surprises in store for our viewers,” said Monty. “General Hospital” was the No. 1 daytime serial when Monty introduced two new characters, Luke (Geary) and Laura (Genie Francis). Francis now stars in another ABC serial, “All My Children.”
