The owner of a Santa Ana apartment complex where a triple homicide occurred 2 1/2 months ago has offered a $2,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the killer, police said Friday.

Police said the owner has requested anonymity.

The shooting occurred Oct. 30 as the victims, two young men and a 16-year-old boy, were standing next to a pay telephone in the courtyard area of Fairview Villas, a large complex at 811 S. Fairview St.

The gunman had approached them from a walkway in the complex and immediately drew a semiautomatic pistol and began firing.
