FREEWAY REPAIRS : Caltrans Issues Motorists’ Advisory

Caltrans advises motorists that it has scheduled the following freeway work in the Southeast and Long Beach area this week. Repair locations are spotted on the map by number and are identified in the list below by the nearest city or cities.

ARTESIA FREEWAY (91)

1. Long Beach: Eastbound No. 4 and 5 lanes from Atlantic Avenue to Myrtle Avenue, the southbound Long Beach Freeway (710) connector to the eastbound Artesia Freeway (91), and the Atlantic Avenue on-ramp; today, 6 a.m. to 1 p.m.; patching.

HARBOR FREEWAY (110)

2. Carson: Connector road from the northbound Harbor Freeway (110) to the northbound San Diego Freeway (405); today, 6:30 a.m. to noon; landscaping.

3. San Pedro: Southbound No. 1 and 2 lanes from Channel Street to Gaffey Street; today, 5 a.m. to 1 p.m.; patching.

PACIFIC COAST HIGHWAY (1)

4. Wilmington: Northbound No. 3 lane at the pipeline undercrossing; Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.; bridge repair.

POMONA FREEWAY (60)

5. Various Cities: Eastbound and westbound No. 1 lanes from Indiana Street to Azusa Avenue; Tuesday and Wednesday, 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.; sweeping.

SANTA ANA FREEWAY (5)

6. Los Angeles: Northbound and southbound No. 1 lanes from Euclid Avenue to Indiana Avenue; Monday through Thursday, 11 p.m. to 4 a.m.; repair center median.

TERMINAL ISLAND FREEWAY (103)

7. Terminal Island: Northbound and southbound No. 1 lanes at the Commodore Schuyler F. Heim Drawbridge; Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 1:30 a.m.; bridge repair.
