Parenthood Orphaned: “Parenthood” has become the fifth series canceled by NBC this season. The situation comedy, based on the movie of the same name, will air for the last time Dec. 29. “Parenthood” ranks 72nd out of the 104 series that have aired on the four major networks this season.
