SIMI VALLEY : Passenger Ejected, Killed in Crash

A 25-year-old landscaper was killed Wednesday night after being thrown from a car in a broadside collision at Madera Road and Country Club Drive West in Simi Valley, authorities said.
Jose Contreras of Simi Valley was being driven home from work by his employer, Tuy Pham, when the crash occurred at 5:04 p.m. Contreras was pronounced dead 40 minutes later at Los Robles Medical Center in Thousand Oaks, Ventura County Deputy Coroner Craig Stevens said.
Tracy Webb, 23, of Simi Valley, was turning left onto westbound Madera when her car struck the passenger side of Pham’s car, said Simi Valley Police Lt. John Ainsworth. Pham’s car rolled over and Contreras was ejected through a window.
