Events in the news this week.
Shop ‘Til You Drop--Many of the local malls and many other stores will be staying open longer today to accommodate last-minute holiday shoppers. Brea Mall and Laguna Hills Mall will be open until 10 p.m. tonight; Buena Park Mall will be open until 9:30 p.m.; Anaheim Plaza, Huntington Center, Mainplace/Santa Ana, Mall of Orange, South Coast Plaza, The City Shopping Center and Westminster Mall will be open until 9 p.m.; Mission Viejo Mall will be open until 7 p.m. and Fashion Island/Newport Center will stay open until 6 p.m.. Some of the department stores in the mall will be staying open later than the mall itself; call the individual stores for more information.
Toys ‘R Us stores will stay open until 10 p.m. tonight, while local Target stores will be open until 11 p.m.
