Bail of $1 million was not reduced Wednesday for a woman charged with killing her ex-boyfriend.
The attorney for Yvonne Lee Twaddle, 25, of Lakeside had asked San Diego Municipal Judge Rafael Arreola to reduce her bail to $100,000.
Deputy Dist. Atty. Sharon Majors said authorities are still investigating the Dec. 19 shooting of Vincent Stauffer, 31, at Twaddle’s residence.
Stauffer arrived at Twaddle’s home after driving from Greensburg, Pa., where she once lived.
Stauffer and Twaddle had dated for three years, Majors said, and Twaddle had moved to Lakeside fairly recently.
A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for Feb. 8.
