Vanna White bought a marriage license in this celebrity-filled ski resort, but wouldn’t give a clue as to just when she’ll say “I do.”
Television’s 33-year-old “Wheel of Fortune” letter-turner and her fiance, George Santo Pietro, 44, of Brooklyn, N.Y., picked up the $20-permit Thursday at the Pitkin County Courthouse.
No one there recognized White, wearing a scarf wrapped tightly around her head, even after she produced her driver’s license for identification.
“I didn’t even know who it was,” said Deputy County Clerk Kim Schultz, who helped the couple fill out the forms.
The marriage license is valid anywhere in Colorado for 30 days.
