CLEANED OUT: Nowadays, with both parents working and the children away at school during the day, burglary has become a daylight occupation. . . . According to state Department of Justice figures, there were more than twice the number of daytime than nighttime burglaries of homes last year, a trend that has held steady throughout the ‘80s. Not so for commercial burglaries; only 36% were done in daylight.
