In other boys’ games:

Santa Clara 67, Nordhoff 43--Art Barron scored 20 points to lead four players in double figures for the Saints (14-4, 2-0) in a Frontier League game at Nordhoff.

Isaiah Mustafa and Steve Amar each had 13 points and Chris Cole had 10 points and 10 rebounds for Santa Clara. Tim Sebek had 14 points and 10 rebounds for Nordhoff (9-5, 0-1).

Antelope Valley 66, Burroughs (R) 50--Brock Chase and Ryan Branch each scored 14 points and host Antelope Valley (7-10, 1-1) jumped to a 27-10 lead after one quarter in a Golden League game.

Muir 74, Hoover 67--Hoover (5-9) rallied to within 65-64 with two minutes remaining in a Pacific League opener at home but lost. Dave Ulloa scored a game-high 23 points for Hoover.

Hart 41, Alhambra 34--Tony Valenzuela scored 13 points to lead Hart (10-5) in a slow-paced Foothill League opener at home. Ali Peek added 12.

Schurr 69, Burbank 58--Jon Warner and Mike Polaski each scored 15 for Burbank (6-9) in a Foothill League opener.

Glendale 71, Arcadia 56--Jerry Armen had 23 points to lead Glendale (10-5) in a Pacific League opener. Jason Harper had 18 points and 11 rebounds for Glendale.

Montclair Prep 63, Western Christian 62--J. T. Billingslea made one of two free throws with four seconds left for host Montclair Prep (11-2) in an Alpha League opener.

St. Genevieve 63, La Salle 59--Patrick Rodriguez had 24 points and 10 rebounds for St. Genevieve (8-7, 1-1) in a San Fernando Valley League game at La Salle.

Highland Hall 65, Oak Hill 39--Edward Anastas scored 22 points and John Klejnot had 19 points, 13 rebounds and seven blocks for Highland Hall (6-4, 3-0) in a Westside League game.

Village Christian 48, L.A. Baptist 47--Matt Henzie hit a 10-foot jump shot with eight seconds to play as Village Christian won at L. A. Baptist for the first time in school history. John Brown had 17 points and 10 rebounds and Dave Orso had 10 points and 10 rebounds for Village Christian. Glen Dodson scored 13 points for L.A. Baptist.

Schurr 62, Burbank 61 (3 OTs)--The Spartans earned a triple-overtime victory against Burbank (3-7, 0-1) in a Foothill League opener.

Anna Franchini scored 17 points for Burbank.

Hart 61, Alhambra 39--Anjanette Dionne scored a game-high 27 points and added seven steals to lead Hart (14-3) in a Foothill League opener at Alhambra.

St. Bonaventure 48, Oak Park 34--Joanna Ziuraitis scored a game-high 22 points for St. Bonaventure (6-6) in the Tri-Valley League opener at Oak Park.

Thousand Oaks 48, Agoura 19--Michelle Palmisano scored 17 points to pace the Lancers (14-1, 3-0) in a Marmonte League victory at Thousand Oaks.

Alemany 55, St. Bernard 41-- Brenda Garcia made seven of eight field-goal attempts and finished with a team-high 15 points to lead Alemany (11-6, 2-0) in a Mission League game at St. Bernard.

Westlake 60, Simi Valley 41--Tracy Thorp had 21 points and Lauren Goldstine added 20 for Westlake (8-5, 2-1) in a Marmonte League game.
