Shot Down: After several days of watching war on television, weekend moviegoers weren’t much in the mood to watch men at war on the silver screen. Paramount Pictures’ “Flight of the Intruder,” about Vietnam War fliers, opened with estimated ticket sales of $4.9 million--for fifth place. Another title reflecting current headlines, “Not Without My Daughter”--starring Sally Field as an American woman trying to get her child out of Iran--plummeted to 11th place. It grossed about $2.7 million, a drop of some 49% over its opening weekend. As for the No. 1 film: For the 10th week in a row, honors went to 20th Century Fox’s kid comedy, “Home Alone,” which earned about $9.4 million.
