Everett Added to Pro Bowl Roster
Ram quarterback Jim Everett, nose tackle Erik Howard, and running backs Emmitt Smith, James Brooks and John L. Williams were designated Tuesday as replacements for injured Pro Bowl players, including the Raiders’ Bo Jackson.
Everett, Howard of the New York Giants and Smith of the Dallas Cowboys were added to the NFC team for the game Feb 3. at Honolulu. Everett replaces San Francisco’s Joe Montana (broken finger), Howard takes over for Philadelphia’s Jerome Brown (shoulder injury) and Smith replaces Chicago’s Neal Anderson (bruised ribs).
Brooks and Williams replace Jackson (hip injury) and Marion Butts (foot injury) of the San Diego Chargers on the AFC team.
