Curvin Richards, the second-leading rusher in Pitt history behind Tony Dorsett, has been suspended indefinitely by Coach Paul Hackett for an unspecified violation of team rules. Hackett would not comment on specific infractions, but the Pittsburgh Press reported the suspension stems from Richards’ academic record and a failure to attend team meetings.
