Professor Gets Grant to Aid Math Teachers
A Cal State Dominguez Hills professor has received a grant of over $500,000 for a project aimed at easing the shortage of qualified mathematics teachers.
Eunice Krinsky, who teaches mathematics at Dominguez Hills, was awarded $576,023 from the National Science Foundation for the 42-month project, called Mathematics Enrichment and Retraining for In-Service Teachers. The program will target teachers at the middle-school level.
