Philadelphia Phillie left-hander Terry Mulholland, who pitched a no-hitter Aug. 15, agreed to a contract for $475,000, a $300,000 raise.
Two Kansas City Royals agreed to terms. Pitcher Jeff Montgomery, who made $300,000 in 1990, increased his salary to $1,085,000. Infielder Bill Pecota agreed to $307,500, a raise of $192,500. Left-hander David Wells and the Toronto Blue Jays also reached agreement.
