BUENA PARK : Speech Center Receives Grants
The Speech and Language Development Center, which serves 180 neurologically handicapped children with language, learning and behavioral problems, recently received $9,000 in grants from community groups.
The 35-year-old center, a private, nonprofit organization, serves students from Orange and Los Angeles counties. The center also has facilities in Placentia for developmentally disabled adults and an educational and residential program near Idyllwild.
