The Persian Gulf War is front-page news, but some people are still confused about just where in the world it’s happening. Prof. Jeffrey Gordon at Ohio’s Bowling Green State reported DISMAL RESULTS ON A GEOGRAPHY TEST about the crisis. Out of 112 cultural geography students, only two could identify 13 Mideast nations on a map. Less than half could identify six--and six couldn’t name one.
