I would like to commend KCET and “Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood” for their reassuring messages to children regarding the war in the Persian Gulf (although this conflict was not specifically mentioned).

It is encouraging to children when, in addition to the love and support of their families, they find warmth and understanding from someone they have grown to trust, such as Fred Rogers.
