IRVINE : Grant Cash Offered to Nonprofit Groups
- Share via
Nonprofit community organizations working to benefit Irvine-area residents may apply to the city for a share of $35,000 in grant money scheduled to be allocated in late April, officials said.
Each year, the City Council awards grants to nonprofit groups.
Although any such organization may apply, priority will be given this year to human services and health care groups. The application deadline is March 1 at 5 p.m.
Applications will be reviewed by the city Community Services Commission, which will recommend grants to the City Council.
The commission will hold a public hearing after March 1 on which nonprofit groups to recommend.
Applications and copies of the eligibility criteria are available from the Community Services Department at the Irvine Civic Center. For information, call (714) 724-6674.
