Coca-Cola Co.: The soft-drink giant announced annual profit of $1.38 billion, off 19.8% from last year. Fourth-quarter earnings plunged to $294.3 million, off 61% from a year earlier when the company realized a large profit from its sale of Columbia Pictures Entertainment Inc. The Atlanta firm said operating profits rose 15.9% in 1990, excluding the sale. Fourth-quarter revenue increased 17.6%, to $2.56 billion, and annual revenue was up 18.8% to $10.24 billion. The company said soft-drink sales rose 4% in the United States during the year and 19% internationally.
