NO RESPECT . . . : Is UC Irvine the Rodney Dangerfield of college basketball? Two East Coast papers thought alike Monday in describing top-ranked Nevada Las Vegas’ win over No. 2 Arkansas. . . . The Washington Post said Arkansas “was dispatched with only slightly more sweat gathering on the Nevada Las Vegas brow than the Cal Irvines of the world normally elicit.” Newsday said that near the end of the game “Arkansas had taken on the appearance of the Cal Irvine Anteaters.”
